Summerlin is unfolding in villages, each centered around its own major park or golf course. Currently, there are 15 villages in various stages of development. Eventually, the community will be home to 30 distinct villages, each featuring dozens of thoughtfully planned neighborhoods and a unique selection of homes, townhomes, condominiums, and apartments. Each Summerlin village has its own distinctive style of architecture and design, evident in streetscapes, landscaping and village walls.

The Garden, is a 410-acre mixed-use residential village and commercial village with a garden-like setting. Home to the Alexander Dawson School at Las Vegas, a private school offering a rigorous traditional liberal arts program for grades K-8. The village features a 20-acre park divided into three distinct areas: an active play area that features court games, such as basketball, tennis and roller hockey; a community center with facilities for passive adult uses, such as horseshoes and shuffleboard courts; and a large open lawn area. The Gardens will also include retail and employment centers along the village's western edge adjacent to the Western Beltway.

Poised to become one of the most exclusive golf meccas in the Southwest, The Ridges is a gated community of custom and luxury home neighborhoods nestled alongside the Red Rock National Conservation Area with breathtaking mountain, valley, and city views. The Ridges offers an incredible assortment of custom and luxury home environments heavily rooted in a sophisticated desert architectural motif. At an elevation of over 3,200 feet, The Ridges creates beautiful living environments while maintaining a very natural setting. The neighborhoods at The Ridges are being created to complement the land rather than overtake it.

And The Ridges features legendary golfer, Jack Nicklaus', Bear's Best Las Vegas golf course which showcases many of the fabulous holes from Nicklaus' desert-themed courses throughout the southwestern United States and Mexico.

You will be captivated immediately by the spectacular gate-guarded entry to the Willow Creek neighborhood. The tennis courts with pavilion, one-half court basketball surface, play area, park, and beautiful paseo complete the picture. Beautiful production homes by some of Las Vegas' leading builders and a custom home neighborhood, Willow Falls featuring 80 one-third acre homesites priced from the low $100,000s. Willow Creek is a wonderful place to call home.

The Willows is a 475-acre residential village that offers a wide selection of housing options, including single-family homes, multi-family homes and custom home neighborhoods. The village has developed around The Willows Park that features lighted baseball fields, two soccer fields, a basketball court, children's play area and The Willows Community Center. One of the park's most popular attractions is the resort-style swimming pool with a beach entrance, two water slides and fountains. The pool is open exclusively to Summerlin residents and their guests. The Willows park also features fairy tale sculptures, a public school, the D'Vorre and Hal Ober Elementary School, and two houses of worship. Summerlin's most westerly village to date, The Arbors' higher elevation deliverss unparalleled city views. Stretching across nearly 1,300 acres, The Arbors is a mixed-use residential village that includes single-family and multi-family home neighborhoods. The village is home to Palo Verde High School and the Bob and Sandy Miller High Tech Center at Summerlin - a mini campus of the Community College of Southern Nevada, Sig Rogish Middle School and Ethel L. Staton Elementary School.

The Arbors Tennis and Play Park features five outdoor lighted tennis courts with a pro shop, as well as Arborville, a unique toddler tricycle track and play area. The Arbors Sports Park is a 60-acre joint-use education and community recreation complex and sports park. Eventually, The sports park will feature an Olympic-sized swimming pool, as well as numerous sports fields to augment those that already exist on the Palo Verde High School campus. Also included in the park is a new public community center owned and operated by the City of Las Vegas. The center features a full-size gymnasium, exercise and meeting rooms. The Arbors is also home to four worship sites, Desert Spring Methodist Church and the Valley's first Hindu Temple, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, scheduled to open Fall 2001 and Red Rock Community Church.

The Canyons is a high-end residential village featuring a diverse range of home styles, including single-family, multi-family, custom and apartment homes. The village is centered around the Tournament Players Club at The Canyons, Summerlin's second TPC golf course that features a ruggedly dramatic topography with unparalleled mountain and city views. Also located in The Canyons is The Regent Las Vegas, a world-class resort featuring two Regent International Hotels with a total of 541 rooms, a 40,000-square-foot European Spa, and several outstanding restaurants and one-of-a-kind boutiques.

The Crossing is the hub of Summerlin's current business and commercial activity and is home to the 115-acre Crossing Business Center. The 540-acre mixed-use Crossing village also includes a variety of single-family and multi-family neighborhoods, the John W. Bonner Elementary School, a fire station and Summerlin Hospital Medical Center, a top-notch medical campus that includes a 166-bed all private suite hospital. Recreation in The Crossing is plentiful with two major parks. As home of the Summerlin Youth Soccer League, The Crossing Park features two full-size lighted soccer fields, while Oxford Park features a multi-purpose lighted sports field on 10 acres.

The Trails is a mixed-use residential village that features single-family and multi-family neighborhoods, as well as the two custom home neighborhoods of Mountain Trails and Desert Trails. This 740-acre village is home to The Trails Community Center, The Trails Park, home of Summerlin Little League, and a public swimming pool operated by the City of Las Vegas. True to the village name, a 45-acre linear park meanders throughout the village, providing miles of scenery for outdoor enthusiasts and fitness buffs. The Trails Village Center is Summerlin's largest shopping center to date and serves as a popular community gathering spot. A full-service United States Post Office and The Merryhill School, a private elementary school, are located in The Trails, in addition to two future worship sites for Grace in the Desert Episcopal Church and Summerlin Community Baptist Church.

This 700-acre high-end mixed-use village features single-family and custom home neighborhoods. It is home to the Tournament Players Club at Summerlin, Nevada's first TPC course and host of two annual PGA TOUR events: the Invensys Classic at Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Senior Classic. The community's cultural cornerstone is at the heart of the village and includes The Summerlin Library and Performing Arts Center, along with the Donald W. Reynolds Cultural Center, home of Nevada Ballet Theatre, the state's only professional ballet company. The Donald W. Reynolds Foundation, one of the largest philanthropic organizations in the Western United States, is headquartered in The Hills South, as well as several Class-A commercial facilities, including the Las Vegas Dental Institute and Summerlin Financial Group.
